A $4,000 Single-Speed

According to The Man on the Street, BRose (of CRC fame; formerly of QBP ignominy) has come into possession of a 2006 BMC SLC01 frameset. Word is that he intends to build up this $3,500 (MSRP) frame as a single-speed that would weigh in the neighborhood of ten pounds.

I don't know what to think. What the hell do you think?
